Biography

Yoji has spent 3years from 1996 of his career in Silicon Valley as a writer of the magazine ASCII, covering the latest information about the industry of computers and the internet, interviewed many companies including startups with the latest technology also continued writing serial articles. Previously he's also written articles for many magazines, books and websites such as Monthly ASCII, Internet@ASCII, Nikkei BP, The Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun and other Newspapers. In the most recent series column, he explains mostly about AI and robotics according to his distinctive interviews. He was invited to multiple events as a guest speaker/lecturer/moderator. In his recent work, he interviewed and wrote reports for RoboCup 2017 official website. He was also a judge for the final tournament that was held in the World Robot Summit sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as well as others. In the TV show hosted by Nikkei CNBC, he has an achievement of playing a role as a commentator.
