Biography

Koichiro (Kay) Okamoto was appointed as the CEO of Yayoi Co., Ltd. in 2008. He turned Yayoi from a traditional software company into a cloud-oriented service company. He led Yayoi’s FinTech initiative and founded an online lending company, Altoa, Inc. in 2017, where he also serves as the CEO. Prior to Yayoi, he founded a boutique management consulting firm, Real Solutions in 2000. His past experiences include system engineer at Nomura Research Institute and consultant at The Boston Consulting Group. He holds an MBA with Honor from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BE from The University of Tokyo.
