Takatsugu Kobayashi

Biography

Was involved in overall business administration of domestic and overseas business locations of I-O Data Device, Inc., working in accounting, finance, and internal audits. He later obtained a Master's degree at Yale University and a PhD at Indiana University in the United States and taught multivariable analysis at Indiana University and the University of Michigan. After returning to Japan, he helped pharmaceutical companies develop sales and marketing strategies at ZS Associates, Inc., making full use of quantitative methods. At IMJ Corporation, he oversaw new business development and R&D in the fields of customer behavior analysis, optimization of advertising budget allocation, and demand forecasting. He later provided support for new business development by start-ups and for business due diligence of investment projects by general trading companies, by using a qualitative and quantitative approach, before joining GROUND Inc. ーEarned MEM from Yale University and Ph.D in Geography from Indiana University
